  • Can I play Idle Factory Tycoon on my device?

    Idle Factory Tycoon is available for devices with Android (version 4.1 and up) and iOS (Version 8.0 and up).

    Lower memory devices might have some issues running the game, however you will still be able to play! (Recommended memory 2GB and up).

    If you are struggling to run Idle Factory Tycoon, please try closing all other applications, ensure you have a strong WiFi connection, and collect all your Cash from all your factories!

  • When/where is the new update?

    Our updates come every 1-2 weeks. We are constantly working on improvements and additions to the game, so keep your eyes peeled for every new version.

    The updates are rolled out in stages, so we’ll release them gradually for testing purposes. If a friend has the latest update and you don’t yet, please be aware you will be getting it soon!

  • Which languages are available? How do I change my language?

    In the game, click on the gear icon near the top left of the screen. Near the top you’ll find the language setting. You’ll be able to choose your language from there.

    Currently the game is available in: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Russian, Korean, Japanese, and Turkish.

  • What is the aim of the game?

    Have you ever wanted to run your own business empire? Idle Factory Tycoon challenges you to build the biggest and most profitable empire of them all!   • How do I play Idle Factory Tycoon?

  • What is Idle Cash?

    Idle Cash is the amount of cash your workers collect for you when you are not actively playing our game. Once you start the game again after a break, you can collect your Idle Cash and it will automatically be added to your normal Cash.

  • How can I earn money when the app is closed?

    With the managers in your factory shafts, elevator and warehouse, you will automatically earn money even when your app is closed – this is the so-called “Idle Cash”.
    Idle Cash is the amount of cash your factory workers collect for you when you are not actively playing our game. Once you start the game again after a break, you can collect your Idle Cash and it will automatically be added to your normal Cash.

  • What in-game currencies are there?

    Cash: The total amount of money you have in the first factory (General Factory).
    Wheel Cash: The total amount of money you have in the second factory (Transport Factory).
    Toy Cash: The total amount of money you have in the third factory (Toy Factory).
    Sports Cash: The total amount of money you have in the fourth factory (Sports Factory)
    Remember: collect money from all factories to increase your Cash!
    Idle Cash: The amount of money you earn in a second while the game is closed in the first factory.
    The Wheel Idle Cash, Toy Idle Cash and Sports Idle Cash work the same way.

    Super Cash: You get this by leveling up your workstations, warehouses and markets and for free every 4 hours in the Shop! It can be spent throughout the entire Idle Factory world.

  • How can I get more in-game Cash?

    If you want or need more in-game currency, you can either buy through the in-game store or you can participate in our social media giveaways!

    Just use the Facebook like-button in our game to follow our page and then you’ll stay up-to-date on the latest giveaways. You can do this by opening your game and taking a look at your Idle Factory Tycoon settings menu (gear icon at the top right of your screen).

  • How do I spend my Super Cash?

    You can use your hard-earned Super Cash to help you progress faster! You can use it to speed things up across the entire Idle Factory world, for example upgrades and workstation unlocks.

  • What do the numbers mean? (1aa, 1ab, 1ac, etc.)

    The in-game currency system is set up like this:

    K = 1,000
    M = 1,000,000
    B = 1,000,000,000
    T = 1,000,000,000,000
    aa = 1,000,000,000,000,000
    ab = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000
    ac = etc.

    We use this system to make big numbers easily recognizable and comparable.

  • What are the different boosts for?

    Idle Cash Clock: After buying this item you get double Idle Cash forever in all factories.
    Production Clock: After buying this item you get double production forever in all factories.
    Ad Boost: If you watch adverts via the button at the bottom of the screen, your Cash and Idle Cash in your current factory will increase for a short period of time. This boost is added to your currently active boosts.

    If you click on the small i symbol above your Cash or Idle Cash, you will see your currently active boosts.

  • What are the Speed and Sales Upgrade Clocks?

    You can purchase Speed & Sales Upgrade Clocks/Bells which can be activated in each factory to make your workers work faster for a short period of time. Once activated, there is a cool-down period before you can use them again.

    To purchase a clock, go to the Skill Points menu (bottom right next to the map). Here you can buy the Skill Points for the factory you are in, and then purchase the upgrades which unlock the clocks for that factory.

  • I watched an ad but didn't receive the boost?

    First, check your boost overview. You can open it by tapping the small i symbol above your Cash (at the top of the screen) when a boost is active. If this doesn’t how your ad boost, then please report the ad which caused the problem to our support team and send some screenshots if possible: community@idle-factory-tycoon.com

  • How do limited offers work?

    Every day you will see different shop offers advertised by little icons on the left of your screen. These offers are only available for a certain amount of time, then they will disappear. You can see the timer counting down to when the offer ends both on the icon and in the shop.

  • What are the maximum levels?

    You can buy up to 30 workstations in each factory, and each workstation can be leveled up to 800. The market and the warehouse can each be leveled up to 2400.

  • How big is the Idle Factory world?

    Currently you can play with 4 factories and there will be more in future!

  • I used the Prestige function but it didn't let me keep all my Cash! Why?

    Whilst you do get to keep your leftover Cash after prestiging a factory, you first have to use some existing Cash to pay for the Prestige reset itself. The cost is displayed at the bottom left when opening the Prestige option.

    When activating Prestige for a factory, make sure you will have enough Cash left after paying the Prestige price so that you can build it back up again quickly.

  • My factory has started from the beginning but I still have all my Cash! What happened?

    You most likely used the game’s “Prestige” feature. This will reset your factory so you play it from the beginning, but it will have a much higher multiplier which means you will earn a lot more money when upgrading the factory again.

  • How does the Prestige system work?

    Prestige will reset your factory so you play it from the beginning, but it will have a much higher multiplier which means you will earn a lot more money when upgrading the factory again.
    Each time you Prestige a factory, you will get an even higher multiplier.
    To Prestige a factory, you need to spend some Cash. The cost is displayed on the Prestige pop-up each time.
    When you Prestige, you will keep the rest of your Cash (after paying the Prestige fee), plus your Super Cash and other factories.

  • What are Skill Points?

    Skillpoints come in four types: yellow (Skill Points), bronze (Wheel Skill Points), green (Toy Skill Points), and blue (Sport Skill Points). You can get them in the Skill Points menu (bottom right next to the map).

    In the Skill Points menu you can choose how to use the Skill Points you collect. When you spend Skill Points on something here, you will get a specific bonus, for example “”Ad Campaigns generate 10% more income””.

  • I'm in the General Factory, how do I get Wheel Skill Points?

    Wheel Skill Points can be purchased with Wheel Cash, which can be obtained in the Transport Factory (the 2nd one).

  • How can I play with friends?

    Currently there are no social features in Idle Factory Tycoon, but we’d love to hear your ideas for what we could add! Send them to community@idle-factory-tycoon.com

  • How and why should I unlock the Transport Factory?

    The Transport Factory will produce substantially more money for you! And you will still keep your General Factory if you open the Transport Factory, so you can play in both factories.
    You need to have 10 workstations in the General Factory, and you need to spend 1.5aa to unlock the Transport Factory on the world map (found by clicking on the icon bottom right).

  • My Speed Clock shows a strange number! What happened?

    Did you change the time on your phone recently while playing?

    Please try turning the time forward again, by however much is displayed in the game (e.g. clock shows 30 hours, turn the time forward 30 hours). If you check the game, this should have fixed the immediate issue.
    Then, please turn your device time back to what it currently should be. If you still have problems, contact us at community@idle-factory-tycoon.com

  • Where can I see my statistics?

    Currently we do not have any Statistics / Overview feature in the game, but we’d love to hear your ideas for how we could add one in future! Send your thoughts to community@idle-factory-tycoon.com

  • How can I use one of my products to make something else?

    Each workstation has got two white boxes underneath it – one on the left and one on the right. On the right of the workstation itself you can see (and change) which product will be made there.

    – To sell the product for money, click on the right-hand white box. Your warehouse workers will then collect it.
    – To use the product for making something else, click on the left-hand white box. Your delivery workers will then take it to the other workstations which need it.

  • What are the Production Upgrades?

    The blueprints icon at the bottom left of your screen shows all of the products you have unlocked. You can upgrade them 5 times to increase the profit you make when you sell them!

  • How do I get started in the game?

    Be sure to follow the on-screen instructions, at the beginning there will be plenty to unlock! Also keep an eye on your bottleneck indicator to find out which station is providing the weakest link – level up your Warehouse, Workstations, and Market all in line with each other for maximum efficiency!

  • Idle Cash: What is it?

    Idle Cash is the amount of cash your workers collect for you when you are not actively playing our game. Once you start the game again after a break, you can collect your Idle Cash and it will automatically be added to your normal Cash.

    You will see Idle Cash in your game when you unlock Workstation 1 in the Iron Ore factory, after buying all your managers.

  • Super Cash: What can I do with it?

    Super Cash is the in-game premium currency. You can use this to speed progress up! You earn Super Cash in-game by completing milestones e.g. unlock something specific, or by purchasing it from the in-game shop!

    You will see Super Cash in your game when you unlock Workstation 2 in the Iron Ore factory and the in-game shop.

  • Can I watch ads for free gifts?

    You can watch ads to give yourself a small boost to your sales within your game. Whenever you come back to the game from being Idle (offline) you can also use an ad to be able to double the amount that you earned while you were offline! Every 4 hours, there is also the option to watch an ad to get some free Super Cash.

    You will see ads/videos in your game when you unlock Workstation 3 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • What are boosts?

    You can use boosts to multiply your earnings in-game and while you’re offline! These are bought through the in-game shop with Super Cash, and look like batteries.

    Currently you can purchase 2x boosts and 5x boosts. These can last for 10 minutes or 1 hour if bought with Super Cash, or if you earn enough Event Tickets during an event you can purchase 4x boosts for 4 hours, or 6x boosts for 2 hours!

    All boosts that you earn or buy will be found in the boost inventory which will be found right beside the world map.

    You will see boosts in your game when you unlock Workstation 6 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • What is the world map?

    There are 6 districts in our game, each one with different products to choose from and 6 different factories in each! That’s 36 different factories to work with.

    The different districts are: General District, Transport District, Toy District, Sport District, Music District, and Furniture District.

    When you unlock more/all of the factories, you can use the boost/collect all function on the world map too!

    You will see the world map in your game when you unlock Workstation 7 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • What are the maximum levels in each factory?

    You can buy up to 30 workstations per factory, each workstation can be leveled up to 800. The market and the warehouse can each be leveled up to 2400.

  • What are the Daily Rewards?

    Your Daily Rewards are earned for logging in each day and they are found through the in-game shop. When in the shop, in the top left-hand corner you will see a little calendar icon. From there you can claim your Daily Rewards.

    You will see the Daily Rewards in your game when you unlock Workstation 8 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • I want to play with my friends! Am I able to?

    Yes, you can invite your friends though Facebook! Each friend you are connected with will give your factories a boost.

    To invite your friends through Facebook:
    Step 1: Tap the little blue outline of a man near the top of the game screen
    Step 2: Tap Invite
    Step 3: Tap the Facebook icon
    Step 4: Post an invite link to your Facebook page

    Alternatively you can send friends direct invite links.

    You will see the option to connect with friends in your game when you unlock Workstation 9 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • What are product upgrades?

    You have the option to upgrade the products your factories make, this helps you earn more money! To upgrade a product, you’re producing you click on the blueprint icon near the shop icon (bottom left of your game) to upgrade the resource you use to make a product. This will increase the value of the product!

    You can decrease the time that it takes to unlock an upgrade by spending Super Cash, or by watching ads.

    You will see product upgrades in your game when you unlock Workstation 10 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • What are Skills?

    Skills are used to boost many different parts of the game, from production values to ad boosts. Each individual district will give you access to a new skill tree so be sure to check back whenever you’ve unlocked a new district! You find the skills in the special Skills building at the top of the world map.

    Skill Points are bought through the shop using Super Cash, or you can earn them through the Event factories!

    You will see Skills in your game when you unlock Workstation 11 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • Speed and Sales Bells: How do they work?

    You can use Skill Points to purchase Speed & Sales Upgrade Clocks/Bells which can be activated in a specific factory to make your workers work faster for a short period of time. Once activated, there is a cool-down period before you can use them again.
    To purchase a clock, go to the Skill Points building (at the top of the map). Here you can buy the Skill Points for the factory you are interested in, and then purchase the upgrades which unlock the clocks for your factory.

What are the Super Workers?

    In progressing through factories you’ll start unlocking Super Worker cards. These will assign Super Workers to the factories they’re intended for. Super Workers are automatically assigned so you don’t need to worry about managing them.

    The more Super Worker cards you unlock, the more you’ll need to manually level up the Workers! Remember to check in the shop regularly as well, to claim your free Wooden Chest every 4 hours, so you can collect as many cards as possible.

    You will see Super Workers in your game when you unlock Workstation 13 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • What are Trophies?

    Depending on your net worth you will receive a certain amount of stars for Prestige, you can use these trophies to permanently upgrade your factories, and use stars to even further boost your trophies!

    You will see Trophies in your game when you unlock Workstation 16 in the Copper factory.

  • What is Prestige?

    Prestige will reset your factory so you play it from the beginning, but it will have a much higher multiplier which means you will earn a lot more money when upgrading the factory again. Each time you Prestige a factory, you will get an even higher multiplier.

    When you prestige you’ll keep all of your upgrades, Super Cash, and factories. You will lose your workstations, and your levels. 

    You will see Prestige in your game when you unlock Workstation 16 in the Copper factory.

  • What are the Event Factories?

    Events are time-limited factories with different themes, they reward you for progressing through them before time runs out!

    You’ll also have access to the Event Shop once you’ve unlocked the Event Factories, from there you can purchase boosts and Skill Points using Event Tickets you’ve gained through rewards.

    Try them out! Earn your badges and compare with your friends!

    You will see Event Factories in your game when you unlock Workstation 14 in the Iron Ore factory.

  • Can I save my game progress? / I lost my account!

    Sadly, we don’t have a cloudsave feature in the game yet, so it’s not possible to save your game or recover a lost account. However, it is a feature we want to work on in the future.

    In the meantime, if you uninstall the game or change phones, you will sadly lose your progress.

    If you have lost your progress, please contact our support directly at community@idle-factory-tycoon.com. Even though we won’t be able to get your old progress back we will be able to help in other ways!

  • Can I transfer my game between Android and iOS?

    Unfortunately, as we don’t have the cloudsave feature enabled yet, we cannot transfer progress from OS to OS.

    Please get in touch with us at community@idle-factory-tycoon.com though, as we might be able to help in other ways.

  • I didn’t receive something I bought!

    Don’t worry, depending on what you have bought it is most likely in your inventory! You will find:
    – Boosts in the boost inventory near the bottom of the screen (showing as a little battery).
    – Skill points in the skills building at the top of the world map.
    – Instant Cash is applied immediately to your current Cash depending on the production of the factory you’re in, so it won’t be in your inventory!

  • Unauthorized purchase – how do I request a refund?

    If you need a refund, please get in contact with us and we’ll have a look at your case: community@idle-factory-tycoon.com. Please let us know the reason for the refund request, and provide any relevant transaction IDs.

  • No Video Available / I have ad problems!

    If you are experiencing any issues with ads please try resetting your ad identifier:

    Android:
    Step 1: Open Google Settings on your Android device by tapping on Menu and then on Google Settings once all apps are displayed on the screen.
    Step 2: Locate and tap on the Ads menu under Services.
    Step 3: Tap on “reset advertising ID” on the new page. The page lists the current advertising ID on the same page.
    Step 4: Confirm the reset when the confirmation prompt is displayed.

    iOS:
    Step 1: Open the Settings app.
    Step 2: Tap Privacy.
    Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Advertising.
    Step 4: Tap Reset Advertising Identifier.
    Step 5: When prompted, tap Reset Advertising Identifier.

    If these steps don’t work please contact us at community@idle-factory-tycoon.com with as much information as possible, e.g. which device you are using and your game version.

  • I watched an ad to boost my production but I can’t see the boost?

    First check your boost overview, just above your normal Cash and Idle Cash you’ll see a little explanation mark ! Tap there and you’ll see your active boost multipliers! If you have any issues, or an ad doesn’t give you a reward, please take screenshots and describe which ad caused the problem – send your report to community@idle-factory-tycoon.com.

  • My timers/bells are showing strange numbers! What’s happened?

    Did you change the time on your phone recently while playing, e.g. while traveling?
    Check that your time settings are currently on Automatic, and that they are correct – this should fix any timer issues. If you’re still having problems please let us know at community@idle-factory-tycoon.com

  • My in-game friends have disappeared!

    If your friends disappear, it might be that you’re not connected to the internet, or the privacy settings in Facebook have changed. To fix this please:

    Step 1: Go to the Facebook application or website
    Step 2: Go to Settings & Privacy
    Step 3: Go to Settings
    Step 4: In security tap Apps and Websites
    Step 5: In preferences, tap Apps, Websites and Games
    Step 6: Turn this setting on

    Once you’ve done this, you’ve allowed Facebook to interact with 3rd party applications and websites such as Idle Factory Tycoon.

  • My issue isn’t listed, what do I do?

    Please send a report to community@idle-factory-tycoon.com so we can help you directly.
    Please include as much detail as possible, including the following:
    – Device information (make, model, operating system)
    – Player ID (please take a screenshot of your loading screen or game settings menu)
    – A description of the issue, along with any relevant screenshots

  • I don’t recognize people in my friends list!

    Idle Factory Tycoon assigns randomly generated display names. If someone joins your game and you don’t know who they are, they are most likely someone you know but they’ve not changed their display name yet!
